Privacy Policy

Overview

Allez Cycle is a stats-first cycling app, built by a fan for fans and not affiliated with ASO, UCI, or any race organizer. This page explains what information we collect — in the iOS app and when you join the waitlist at allezcycle.com — why we collect it, and how it's handled.

The Allez Cycle app

The app has no accounts. It never asks for your name, email address, location, contacts or payment details, and it contains no advertising or third-party analytics.

• What you follow. The riders and teams you follow and the races you star are stored on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, they're also synced to your own iCloud account through Apple, so they survive reinstalling the app or moving to a new iPhone. We can't see that copy.
• Race data. Results, standings and rider information are loaded from our database. As with any internet service, our database provider processes standard technical request data (such as IP address) to answer those requests; we don't store it or use it to identify you.
• Start-time reminders (30 minutes before and at the start) are scheduled on your iPhone itself. Nothing about them is sent to us.

Push notifications

Notifications are off until you allow them. If you turn them on, we store the following on our server so we can send you winner and result notifications for the races you care about:

• your device's push token — a random identifier Apple issues for this app on this device, which doesn't reveal who you are;
• the riders, teams and races you follow or star, and which notification types you have switched on;
• whether the app is a test or App Store build, and when this information was last updated.

This information is used only to decide which notifications to send and to deliver them through Apple Push Notification service. It isn't linked to your name or email, isn't used for advertising or tracking, and isn't shared with anyone else.

You can stop notifications at any time under Settings → Notifications in the app, or in iOS Settings. If you delete the app, Apple tells us the token is no longer valid and we stop sending to it. Tokens that are no longer valid, or that haven't been refreshed by the app in six months, are deleted automatically.

The waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address — required, so we can let you know when early access opens.
• The races you tell us you follow (Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a España, World Championships, Classics & Monuments) — optional, and used only to understand which races matter most to early users.
• The date and time you signed up, recorded automatically.

We don't ask for a password, payment details, or any other personal information on this page, and we don't use advertising or analytics cookies or trackers here.

How we use your information

We use your waitlist email solely to send you updates about Allez Cycle — most importantly, to let you know when the app is ready for early access. We use the aggregated race preferences from everyone on the list to help prioritize what we build first. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we won't use your email for anything beyond communicating about Allez Cycle.

How your information is stored

Push-notification registrations and waitlist signups are stored with Supabase, a hosted database provider. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is restricted with row-level security: the public key used by the app and this page can only add or update entries — it cannot read, list, or export anyone's registrations or signups. This site is hosted on Cloudflare's network, which — like most web hosts — processes standard technical request data (such as IP address) as part of serving the page; we don't separately access or store that data ourselves.

Data retention

Push-notification registrations are kept as described under Push notifications above. We keep waitlist entries until Allez Cycle launches and you've had the chance to move to an account within the app, or until you ask us to delete your information — whichever comes first. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@allezcycle.com. We'll action deletion or access requests promptly.

Children's privacy

Allez Cycle and its waitlist are not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, please contact us and we'll remove the information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Allez Cycle develops — for instance, if the app ever introduces accounts. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
